“I think we under performed in the first half. For whatever reason, we didn’t start the game as well as we’d like. They started more aggressive and more athletic than us, which is surprising. I don’t often say that about my team.”
“We changed it at half time. I thought we were much more competitive in the second half but to concede from two set-pieces was hugely disappointing,”
“I thought we scored a goal but the linesman said it went out of play but I haven’t see it back yet.
“We were good second half. There was definitely a response in the second half and on another day, we may have nicked a goal and won it, but we didn’t and the scoreline is what it is.
“I don’t think we got enough crosses in and enough shots on target. They have been excellent in recent weeks but I didn’t think our first half performance was enough to get anything out of the game.”
