Wednesday Round Up

Paul Evans today returned to Nottingham Forest as he requires a knee operation, which has cut short his loan spell with the Millers.

Injured
The midfielder's loan was set to end after this Saturday's crunch derby with Bradford, where the Millers will be looking to bite back from Mick Harford's dismissal and end a dismal 17 game winless run. The ex-Shrewsbury and Brentford man netted once in five outings, in the LDV Vans Trophy loss to Macclesfield Town.

Meanwhile, the club has confirmed that the home game with Port Vale on January 7th has been postponed, after Vale were victorious in their FA Cup replay with Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium last night. We await the announcement of the rescheduled date.

The Reserves are in action in the Pontins League against Stoke City tonight if anyone wishes to take in a game. A youthful side managed to qualify from the group stages of the cup with a 4-0 victory against Sheffield United last time out. Tonight's match will see Phil Gilchrist, Paul Hurst and Jon Otsemobor start as they look to play themselves into contention for Saturday's first team game at Valley Parade.

The lads kick off at 7pm and admission is free of charge as usual.
