Rotherham Borough couuncil's planning board will tomorrow review the proposals for the new stand at Millmoor, the planning officers are recomending that the plans be granted permission.

Should the plans be rubber stamped, AND at least £230k raised from the right's issue the club is running, then work on the stand will be started in May according to Chris Dobbs on the official website.

"The planning officers are recommending approval subject to certain statutory conditions. It means if the councillors accept the officers' recommendations, and the rights issue goes well we can start work on the project by the end of May. This is an exciting development for Rotherham United and is another milestone on the way to delivering a stadium we can be proud of." Dobbs told themillers.co.uk
