Should the plans be rubber stamped, AND at least £230k raised from the right's issue the club is running, then work on the stand will be started in May according to Chris Dobbs on the official website.

It means if the councillors accept the officers' recommendations, and the rights issue goes well we can start work on the project by the end of May. Last night the Club held a meeting with the shareholders, outlining and explaining the rights issue which is aimed to raise the club £900k.
Roger Stone, leader of Rotherham Borough Council and its chief executive Mike Cuff were present at the meeting while former Millers great, Dave Watson gave his support to the cause.
