The club sent letters out to all the schools in the borough offering tickets at discounted prices for kids and their parents, 500 took the offer up for the Yeovil game, this time more then 1400 have bought tickets and should help give the team some backing in the crunch must-win game against managerless Hartlepool United tomorrow.
The Millers Commercial Manager, Damon Shaw told the clubs official website, "I am very pleased with the large number of people taking advantage of the reduced priced tickets. The first time we ran the offer 500 new fans came to the game - this figure has now almost trebled, which is great news for the club.
"We are very much a family based club and do all we can to encourage new fans to come to the games and support the Millers. The children coming to the game on Saturday are the next generation of fans I am sure they will enjoy their visit to Millmoor and will want to come to another game soon."
Lets hope the team can give the crowd something to cheer about!!
