"I am nearly where I want to be. I broke my leg at the end of the previous September and was pushing for March to play again but did'nt make it which may have been a bit unrealistic." he said.
"But then I fought my way back to playing games and then did my ankle ligaments in the last pre-season game which was very demoralising, But I have a fresh start and proving to people that I can get back to where I was."
"I never doubted I would get back despite the setbacks, even though I was out for a long time I just wanted to play football and first team football. I could'nt sit around and play in the reserves, and that was one of the reasons I came here."
Andy also thought that the Millers were starting to come good; "There has been a complete overhaul of players. We have a good, fresh young manager who is keen to succeed and the club do the right thing in preparing for games."
"Everyone gets on well and if you are to get results you need everyone pulling in the right direction, I think as a team we are getting better and gelling and I don't think we are far away from giving someone a big beating." he added.
