The 27 year old midfielder scored the goal for the Millers in last weekends 1-0 win at Accrington Stanley, and hopes to put Shrewsbury to the sword tomorrow.
"We want to really force home the advantage of that win at Accrington now by beating Shrewsbury" he told the 'Tiser.
"By and large we've been decent at home and the first half we produced against Bury a few weeks ago was the best we've played this season. With our fans behind us, hopefully we can put in another good show and get three points."
"I'm sure we are going to be up there or thereabouts at the top this season. We're on a good league run, I don't know whether it's got anything to do with me being back in the team. I keep pulling the lads' legs about that, but I think we're starting to gel a lot better. Everyone knows each other and I hope we can push on and get promoted." he added.
Looking back at his goal last weekend, he said; "I was delighted to see it go in. I scored my first goal for Rotherham against Grimsby Town in the league but it was special to net a winner. Accrington isn't the best place to go. It's tough and it's ugly but we were up for it and everyone stuck to their job. Some of our moves in the second half destroyed them. The only thing that let us down was our finishing. We could have won five or six nil."
