Speaking to the 'Tiser, Cummins spoke about the possibilty of taking a play off place; "There's confidence in the squad and in the gaffer here, He's played down the play-off talk and you can understand that because he's trying to keep the pressure off us."
"Safety is the priority but you can't rule anything out. If we can get on an unbeaten run again and make Don Valley a fortress then you never know what might happen. Teams above us might beat each other and we might sneak in the back door in the last couple of games of the season. I think Stockport did that last season and they went on to go up, so it's a matter of keeping our concentration and getting up the league." Cummins added.
Even with the Millers being in the middle of a week of cup games, Cummins admits the league form is priority; "It's frustrating we can't get on with the league but that's how the season is structured, The cup is a nice distraction with all the attention we're getting and it's good to pit our wits against a socalled better team. But it's important that we push on and get points when the league resumes next week." he said
"We have some good, young talent and options on the bench and through the squad. We've got a good run-in to Christmas and come January hopefully we'll be looking towards the play-offs."
