"If we lose four games and Bournemouth win the next four then it's going to get difficult and in this league it can happen. There's 60 points to play for, which means even Luton can get to 60 points.
"Every game I look at in this division I think we can win. The same goes for Saturday's game against Macclesfield and next week against Bury, but we've still got work to do.
In the midweek at Darlington, which the Millers again failed to score in and went down to defeat, he says: "We dominated from start to finish. They scored a lucky goal that we maybe could have done better with but we missed too many chances and that cost us the game.
"We didn't lose to a lack of effort but there was a lack of skill maybe and the quality of ball into the box wasn't good enough for the strikers. Darlington sat deep and we couldn't break them down.
"We had chances in the first half and, as the gaffer said at half time, you need to take them. The first goal in those types of game are always important.
"Our mentality was spot on. We won most of the areas all over the pitch but it just wasn't our day.
"You've just got to endeavour to keep getting in the box and get on the end of those chances and not hide- and I know non of our lads will do that. We're not a bad team at all. We didn't deserve to lose on Tuesday but we have lost and that's the end of it.
"There's been other games we've won this year that we didn't deserve to, so when it happens the other way you've just got to take it on the chin and pick yourself up for the next game."
