Where's the money coming from? asks RUST

We all know about the proposed new ground, but we don't know how its going to be financed as yet.. In a recent interview with chairman Denis Coleman, he revealed that Rotherham Council would not be funding it.
So that leaves the question of who will?? RUST will be having a meeting with the board and the question is the top of their agenda.
Speaking to todays 'Tiser Steve Exley said: "As a club, we have no money. The scheme has to be costed and the issue of where you find £25 million leaves a big question mark. "Who, in local business, has £25 million to invest in a new sports stadium?
"You'd like to think that people in the know have an answer because the whole question of a ground has got to this stage, but the question remains."
He went on to look at the club's future; "If you had asked me two years ago, I would have preferred to have stayed at Millmoor, But having nearly gone bankrupt and failed to complete the building of the main stand, the time has come to move on. 'Anyone with half a mind can see we are hamstrung by Millmoor. It's a nasty problem we have there with the high rent and so on. I sat in on the court case with the landowners, the Booths, and I can tell you there is no way they are going to relent." Exley said.
"Personally, I enjoy going to away games much more than home games. It's far more intimate and sociable and you can mix with opposition supporters."
"We need to push on like other clubs have. Look at Rochdale. They've less of a successful history than us and they've won only one promotion in years and years, yet they've been able to rebuild three sides of their ground. Fifteen years ago when I went to Spotland, it still had grass banks for terraces." he added
