Williamson faces spell out.

Williamson was supposed to be undergoing an operation to remove loose cartlidge from his nose after he got injured during the game at Nottingham Forest over a fortnight ago.

However, Millers physio Dennis Circuit told the Millers official website that this has been delayed after Williamson has had complications.

"We had him checked out after the Forest game and he struggled a little breathing through his left nostril so we took him to a consultant who said he would need his nose re-setting. It could be done now or at the end of the season and Lee said he wanted it doing now. But at that point he contracted a virus and was sent home. While he was recovering from that he started to get severe migraines and felt unwell. " Circuit told.

Williamson was diagnosed with delayed concussion from the knock at the Forest game. "He had a routine MRI brain scan and that was OK before he was assessed with the concussion confirmed. Since then he has struggled so it could be another two weeks before he gets over this. We have provisionally booked him in for his nose operation on 18th October so if everything goes well for him he will be out for at least six weeks." Circuit added.

This could well explain why Williamson looked lethargic during the Southend and Leeds games.
