Speaking to tomorrows Rotherham Advertiser
, on loan defener Che Wilson say's he's enjoyed his time at Millmoor despite only making 5 appearances for the club.

"I don't know if I'm going to be here, My contract is up at Southend but they have said they are going to offer me a new contract."
"This year hasn't been very good for me. All I want to do is play football. Whoever gives me the opportunity, I want to take it. Obviously I want to play as high a level as I can. We'll see what the summer brings. Hopefully I'll have a couple of options and I can go from there."

"If I do go back (to Southend) I will look back with fond memories, Things haven't been good on the pitch but I've thoroughly enjoyed it. The lads have been great and everyone has treated me with respect. They've looked after me and that will be something I'll always remember."

"Hopefully I've given a good account of myself and helped out. It wasn't enough in the end to survive but I gave my all and I hope the fans recognise that."

"There's some talented boys here and the work ethic is great. I'm surprised they've been relegated from what I've seen. True, some sloppy goals have been conceded, but it's just a matter of cutting out the silly mistakes."

It was the second time Che has been at the same club as manager Mark Robins, the gaffer was at Norwich while Wilson was a junior there.

Speaking about Robbo as a manager, Wilson said; "He's new to the job and I think he's doing a good job, He's been great for me because he brought me here and gave me some games, but he's had the right schooling and has played under Sir Alex Ferguson, who is probably the best football manager there has been in my lifetime."

"The proof is in the pudding with the results and Mark can make a mark next season. He will be able to bring in players he likes and it will be more his team. I think Rotherham will give a good account of themselves in League Two and I will certainly keep an eye out for their results."
