The Millers have won three on the spin since Evans returned from his ban following an incident last season, and now sit in joint 5th place in the table.
"It definitely has had an impact and I think the gaffer found it hard not being there," Woggy told BBC Radio Sheffield last night.
"There's nothing like having your manager on the touchline every week. I think he's really happy that he's back and able to do his job to the best of his ability.
"I've been here for six years now and this is by far the strongest squad we've had," he continued.
"The competition for places now is so demanding that it means players with the shirt have to keep working hard to make sure they retain it because there are some good players not even getting in the squad."
