Scott sealed the loan deal for Wood until January 9th and told Millersplayer he thinks he'll be a good addition.
"I brought Sam out of non-league and he did very, very well at Brentford and was a major influence on our winning of the League Two title that year.
"He's a very tenacious, hard working player with a good left foot. He can play left-back, left-midfield and central-midfield and will play anywhere and give his all. Having the ability to play in several positions does help, it gives us options and he's got goals in him.
"He knows a few of the lads here and I'm sure he'll fit in with the group and I'm delighted to get him. I've been after him for a while because I've always believed he'd be a good addition to the squad," said the gaffer.
