The winger has appeared in every game thus far, but only as substitute following his withdrawal at Gresty Road in the opening day draw.
After scoring his first Millers goal last weekend to seal a 2-1 win, Worrall spoke to the Star this week.
“As the ball dropped, one of my old teammates from Bury days Mike Jones was running towards me, but I managed to get there first and knew when I hit it that it could go in. It was just a great feeling and great to do it in front of the Rotherham fans and then to be able to go and celebrate with them.
“If you lose your place, you simply have to get on with it and try and get back in,” he added. “After starting with the two draws in the league, we were looking to win at Crawley so it was an important result.
"If we can follow that up at home to Shrewsbury on Saturday, it will have been a great start but no one should get carried away.”
Worrall came off with a knock in Tuesdays reserves draw at Scunthorpe, but is expected to be fit for Saturdays game. Striker Daniel Nardiello is likely to be amongst the substitutes after the birth of his new daughter.
The Millers are looking to seal a first win against the Shrews in 10 attempts, the last win coming at Millmoor back in November 2007.
