Speaking to todays Advertiser, Brendan Ingle explained all; "It's all about showing these Lads different types of fitness work. 'Boxers' gym work is designed to improve their co-ordination, mobility, flexibility, accuracy and rhythm and that is something footballers can benefit from too."
"You hear all sorts of things about soccer players but I must say that these three young lads have been a pleasure to work with." he added.
Former director Carl Luckcock has been involved with the gym since leaving the Millers and helped set up the training with boss Mark Robins approvement.
"The lads have their own summer fitness programme anyway but I hope these boxing gym sessions will make their stronger both physically and mentally. It won't do them any harm." Luckcock said.
