Grimbsy Town finally claimed their first home League win of the season with a surprise win over high flying Shrewsbury Town at Blundell Park. Proudlock scored the only goal of the game in the 53rd minute to set the win up. Grimsby Town 21st, Shrewsbury Town 3rd.
Brentford and Bradford City left it very late to find their scoring boots at Griffin Park. Bean gave the Bees an 88th minute lead, only to see Boulding level a minute later. Then in the 94th minute Elder netted the winner for the home side. Brentford 4th, Bradford City 5th.
Morcambe are in touching distance of midtable as they beat Darlington with a single goal win at Christie Park. Howe netted the winner in the 67th minute. Morcambe 17th, Darlington 6th.
Rochdale had to settle for a point against AFC Bournemouth at Spotland. Bradbury gave the Cherries the lead on the stroke of half time from the penalty spot, with Le Fondre levelling in the 67th minute. Rochdale 7th, AFC Bournemouth 23rd.
Barnet were denied a vital win against Gillingham at Underhill. Leary gave the Bees a 46th minute lead, which was cancelled out by Barcham in the 67th minute. O'Flynn restored the home sides' lead 4 minutes later only to see Jackson level in the 92nd minute. Barnet 20th, Gillingham 9th.
Lincoln City notched up a great win over Accrington Stanley at Sincil Bank on Friday evening, but had to come from behind to do so. Miles gave Stanley an 11th minute lead, but that's as good as it got for the visitors. Patulea levelled in the 68th minute, with Brown giving the Imps a 77th minute lead. Wright extended the advantage in the 83rd minute. Stanley then collapsed as Patulea scored for his second in the 93rd minute and Frecklington scored from the penalty spot in the 96th minute. Lincoln City 12th, Accrington Stanley 18th.
Friday night football also suited Macclesfield as they ran away 4-2 winners over Chesterfield at Saltergate. Two quick strikes from Gritton and Bell in the 23rd and 25th minutes only saw a Ward goal in the 38th minute in the first half. Gritton netted again in the 57th minute, with Ward reducing the deficit in the 67th minute. Evans restored the 2-goal advantage in the 77th minute to seal the win. Chesterfield 14th, Macclesfield 13th.
Chester City claimed just their 3rd home win of the season over Notts County at the Deva Stadium. Lowe gave the Cheshire side a 12th minute lead with Roberts doubling the advantage in the 50th minute. Chester City 19th, Notts County 16th.
Wycombe Wanderers and Luton Town battled out a 0-0 draw as the Hatters slowly limp back to 'nil point' at Adams Park. Wycombe Wanderers 1st, Luton Town 24th.
The game between Dagenham & Redbridge and Exeter City was abandoned at half time when the floodlights failed at Victoria Road. Benson had given the home side a 31st minute lead before the game was abandoned. Dagenham & Redbridge 11th, Exeter City 8th.
