Given that there were no goals anywhere in League Two for the opening 15 minutes, there were some remarkable scorelines.
Rochdale extended their lead at the top of League Two with their 7th away win of the season, which came against Lincoln City at Sincil Bank. Herd did give the Imps the lead in the 23rd minute, but that was as good as it got for the home side as O'Grady levelled in the 36th minute, Dawson gave Dale the lead on the stroke of half time, leaving Thompson to put the result beyond doubt in the 59th minute. Morecambe thumped AFC Bournemouth at Christie Park, running away with a convincing 5-0 win. Drummond gave the Shrimpers the lead in the 15th minute, which was added to before the break with goals from Stanley in the 23rd minute and Wilson in the 25th minute. The Cherries cause wasn't helped when Bartley saw red in the 42nd minute. It just got worse for the Cherries when Jevons scored from the penalty spot in the 50th minute with Duffy rounding off the win in the 92nd minute. Morecambe secured their 7th win on the spin. Rotherham United eventually an away with a 4-2 win over Bradford City at Valley Parade. Bullock have the Bantams the lead in the 19th minute which saw Ellison net a brace for the visitors in the 30th and 37th minutes. Flynn levelled for City just after the break, only to see Roberts restore the advantage in the 78th minute and Broughton making sure the points in the 88th minute. Bradford City 14th, Rotherham United 3rd.
Dagenham & Redbridge are neatly tucked in behind the automatic promotion places following a 3-1 win over Bury at Victoria Road. Benson gave the Daggers an 18th minute lead, only to see Nardiello level on the stroke of half time. Benson restored the lead in the 78th minute, with Ofori-Twumasi making sure of the points in the 94th minute. Dagenham & Redbridge 4th, Bury 9th.
Chesterfield won by a single Lester goal (42nd min) at Saltergate against managerless Cheltenham Town. Chesterfield 5th, Cheltenham Town 21st.
Notts County slipped to a surprise home defeat against Accrington Stanley at Meadow Lane. Symes gave Stanley the lead in the 60th minute, with Ryan extending the advantage in the 74th minute. Hughes pulled one back from the penalty spot in the 82nd minute. Notts County 6th, Accrington Stanley 11th.
Aldershot Town were well and truely thumped against Burton Albion at The Pirelli Stadium as the home side ran out convincing 6-1 winners. Pearson netted a first half hat trick with goals in the 31st min (penalty), 39th minute and first half injury time. Kabba netted for the home side in the 43rd minute to round off a miserable first 45 minute for the Shots. Grant netted a consolation for the visitors in the 67th minute as Kabba netted again in the 72nd minute and Harrad rounded things off for the home side in the 84the minute. Burton Albion 12th, Aldershot Town 8th.
Crewe Alexandra inflicted a first home defeat of the season for Barnet at Underhill as the Railwaymen secured a 2-1 win. Grant gave the Alex a 25th minute lead with Sinclair levelling in the 40th minute lead. Donaldson scored what proved to be the winner ijn the 67th minute. Barnet 15th, Crewe Alexandra 13th.
Northampton Town and Port Vale had to make do with a point at Sixfields. Richards gave Vale the lead on the stroke of half time, with Akinfenwa levelling from the penalty spot in the 51st minute. Northampton Town 20th, Port Vale 16th.
Macclesfield gave themselves some breathing space at the foot of League Two as they saw off Hereford United at Moss Rose. A Sinclair brace in the 43rd and 68th minutes was added to by Wright on the stroke of half time. Constantine gave the visitors an injury time consolation at the end of the game. Torquay United were another side well and truely in the goals as they ran away with a convincing 5-0 over Conference bound Darlington at Plainmoor. Zebroski netted a brace in the 17th and 69th minutes, which was added to by Carlisle in the 31st minute, Rendell on the stroke of half time and Benyon in the 77th minute. Torquay United 19th, Darlington 24th.
