Nottingham Forest entertained Bristol City at the City Ground in front of +23,000. Southall scored the only goal of the game in the 9th minute to set up a 5th home win for Forest. Nottingham Forest 1st, Bristol City 3rd.

Yeovil Town hit new heights as they slipping up to the automatic promotion places in League One with a single goal victory over Oldham Athletic at Huish. The only goal of the game came through Skiverton in the 45th minute. Yeovil Town 2nd, Oldham Athletic 11th.

Scunthorpe United continued their recent fine run with a single goal away win over Bradford City at Valley Parade. Sharp scored the only goal of the game in the 79th minute. Bradford City 8th, Scunthorpe Unitd 4th.

Swansea City seem to have come back to life again, this time with a 2-0 Sunday afternoon win over Millwall at the Liberty Stadium. Lawrence score the first in the 17th minute with Britton netting the Swan's second in the 51st. Swansea City 5th, Millwall 21st.

Huddersfield Town are back on track again with a 2-1 away win over Port Vale at Vale Park. Constantine had given the home side a 1-0 lead in the 33rd minute, but it was not to be as Booth levelled in the 77th minute. This was followed 2 minutes later by Collins in the 79th minute. Port Vale 10th, Huddersfield Town 6th.

Carlisle United claimed a vital 1-0 win over play-off rivals Tranmere Rovers at Brunton Park. Gall scored the only goal of the game in the 35th minute. Carlisle United 7th, Tranmere Rovers 9th.

Crewe Alexandra couldn't hold on to any of the points on offer at home to Blackpool as the visitors climbed clear of the drop zone. Morrell gave the visitors the lead in the 3rd minute, which was cancelled out by Maynard in the 67th minute. The winner for Blackpool came late when Shaun Barker scored in the 90th minute. Crewe Alexandra 12th, Blackpool 14th.

Doncaster Rovers claimed another win, this time Forte scored the only goal of the game in the 24th minute against Chesterfield. Doncaster Rovers 13th, Chesterfield 15th.
Brighton and Northampton Town battled to a 1-1 draw at Withdean. Robinson put the home side ahead in the 39th minute, but were pegged back for a share of the points when Quinn levelled in the 84th minute. Brighton & Hove Albion 18th, Northampton Town 16th.

AFC Bournemouth looked like a League Two in waiting at Dean Court against a rampant Rotherham United side. Bopp gave the visitors the lead in the 18th minute with a long range effort. Gowling levelled in the 31st minute, but that was the catalyst for Hoskins (33) and Williamson (36) to put the game beyond Bournemouth's reach. AFC Bournemouth 20th, Rotherham United 23rd.

Leyton Orient closed the gap on safety with a 2-0 win over Cheltenham Town at Brisbane Road. Alexander put the home side ahead in the 6th minute, with Lockwood making sure of the points in the 66th minute with a converted penalty. Leyton Orient 24th, Cheltenham Town 22nd.
