Nottingham Forest
extended their lead at the top of League One to a comfy 6-points as they came from behind at the City Ground to beat Millwall. May had put the visitors ahead in the 4th minute, but 2 wuick goals in the second half from Agogo (65 mins) and Perch (67 mins) broke Millwall hearts. Breckin settled matters in the 82nd minute. Nottingham Forest 1st, Millwall 22nd.

Scunthorpe United maintain the chase for top spot with a 2-0 away win over rivals Yeovil Town at Huish. Both of their goals came from Sharp who netted in the 7th and 62nd minutes. Yeovil Town 6th, Scunthorpe United 2nd.

In their Friday night match, Tranmere Rovers blotted Blackpool's recent fine run of form with a 2-0 home at Prenton Park. Greenacre scored in the 2nd minute to get the home side off to a flyer, and Davies made sure of the points in the 67th minute. Tranmere Rovers 3rd, Blackpool 11th.

Not much is stopping Oldham Athletic at the moment as their charge up the table continues. Being brushed aside this weekend was Huddersfield Town in front of their own fans at the Galpharm Stadium. McDonald put the Latics ahead in the 16th minute. Porter extended the advantage just before the hour mark and Warne made sure of the points in the 67th minute. Huddersfield Town 14th, Oldham Athletic 4th.

Carlisle United had to come from behind with a show of character against Port Vale at Brunton Park. The visitors had cruised in to a comfortable 2-0 lead by half time through goals from Harsley (26 mins) and Smith (40 mins). But it was not to be as the home side battled back! Deadly Derek Holmes got one back for the home side in the 66th minute, Hawley levelled 11 minutes later with the winner coming from Murphy with 9 minutes to spare! Carlisle United 8th, Port Vale 17th.

Crewe Alexandra and Chesterfield had a ding-dong battle at Gresty Road which was settled in a 2-2 draw. Varney had put the home side in front in the 64th minute, and was probably thinking that it was going to be the winner. That is until Niven levelled with 5 minutes to go. Rodgers put the home side head with a minute left on the clock, leaving Hurst to pop up with an injury time leveller! Crewe Alexandra 9th, Chesterfield 16th.

Gillingham scored a single goal victory over Rotherham United at Priestfield. Mulligan scored the winner in the 23rd minute. Gillingham 10th, Rotherham United 19th.

Doncaster Rovers also scored a single goal victory, theirs was against Brighton & Hove Albion at Belle Vue. McGammon scored the only goal of the game in the 25th minute. Doncaster Rovers 12th, Brighton & Hove Albion 13th.

In their relegation 6-pointer, Cheltenham Town came out on top over Brentford at Whaddon Road, securing a 2-0 win. Both goals came from Odejayi as he netted a brace in the 5th and 75th minute. Cheltenham Town 20th, Brentford 23rd.

The only other game played was between Bradford City (15th) and AFC Bournemouth (21st) who played out a 0-0 at Valley Parade - Kevin Bond's first point in charge. The game saw Dean "I Bite Ears" Windass sent off for violent conduct in the 13th minute.

Northampton Town and Leyton Orient was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, and Swansea City face Bristol City in a Sunday showdown.
