Bristol City claimed a great away win against Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park as they ran out 3-0 winners! Showunmi stated things off with a strike in the 9th minute, followed by McAllister in the 37th minute and then Andrews in the 65th minute to round off a fine afternoon. Blackpool also claimed a single goal win, but they claimed 3-points at the expense of Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road. Southern scored the only goal of the game in the 85th minute. Leyton Orient 20th, Blackpool 6th.
In their Friday night match, Tranmere Rovers and Bradford City scrapped away for a 1-1 draw at Prenton Park. Taylor gave the home side the lead, but a share of the points was secured by a Schumacher strike in the 34th minute. Tranmere Rovers 7th, Bradford City 12th.

A few weeks age Huddersfield Town were in danger of being dragged in to a relegation scrap. At the moment they look safe from that hassle as they claimed a win over hapless AFC Bournemouth at Dean Court with a 2-1 win. Worthington gave the visitors the lead in the 12th minute to which Purches levelled in the 43rd. The winner came with 5 minutes to go as Schofield claimed all three points for the Yorkshire side. Cheltenham Town and Gillingham managed to get to 1-1 in the opening 15 minutes with Savage giving the Kent side a 6th minute lead before Melligan levelled for the home side in the 17th minute.
