Notts County saw off local rivals, Burton Albion at The Pirelli Stadium with a comprehensive 4-1 win. Ravenhill gave County a 13th minute lead, which lead to Kabba levelling in the 38th minute. Hughes netted a hat trick to secure the win with strikes just before the break and then in the 48th (pen) and 53rd minutes. Burton Albion 14th, Notts County 4th.
Have the wheels come off the Dagenham & Redbridge band wagon as they slipped to defeat against Cheltenham Town at Victoria Road. Richards have the Robins the lead on the stroke of half time with Low securing the win in the 66th minute. Dagenham & Redbridge 5th, Cheltenham Town 21st.
Shrewsbury Town continued their inconsistent form with a 3-1 win over Bradford City at Valley Parade. Dunfield have the Shrews an 11th minute lead. Hanson levelled for the Bantams in the 20th minute, with McIntyre restoring the advantage just before the half time break from the penalty spot. Hibbert put the result beyond doubt in the 79th minute as City finished with ten men. Bradford City 15th, Shrewsbury Town 8th.
Bury are nicely tucked just behind the play-off places, with games in hand, as they edged towards the play off zone with a hard fought win over local rivals Accrington Stanley. Symes had given the home side a 14th minute lead, which stood until Jones levelled in the 53rd minute and then Morrell gave the visitors the lead two minutes later. McConville levelled things up in the 69th minute, before Morrell completed a brace in the 75th minute. Lowe made sure of the points with a penalty in the 93rd minute. Macclesfield put a bit of daylight between themselves and the relegation places with a 4-1 win over local rivals Crewe Alexandra at Moss Rose. The Silkmen blitzed their visitors with goals from Wright (4th min), Bolland (13th min) and Daniel (30th min) to just about seal the points. Zola pulled one back in the 64th minute before Sappleton restored the three goal advantage in the 92nd minute. Macclesfield 17th, Crewe Alexandra 12th.
