Two Review - Week 24
Last updated : 10 January 2008 By Deano
With MK Dons' smash and grab victory at Millmoor last weekend, Paul Ince's men stretched their lead at the top of the table to 11 points and will look to make it a bigger margain against Barnet on Saturday.
The Millers remain in joint second spot with Hereford as the Bulls didn't have a fixture, but it's looking increasingly likely that the rest of the division are playing for two of the three automatic spots.
Luckily other results favoured Mark Robins' men with fourth placed Chesterfield losing 2-1 at home to Grimsby, in a game which saw 11 people arrested due to crowd trouble. It remians tight down to the last play off spot with Darlington having two games in hand and a free weekend, whilst Wycombe kept up the pressure on the leading pack as Scott McGleish hit a hat-trick in their 4-0 romp at Mansfield on Tuesday night.
Down at the bottom a win at Lincoln could be a crucial three points for Rotherham this Saturday. Elsewhere Wrexham face a trip to improving Grimsby and Mansfield go to Chester.
