'One Town, One Community' will be emblazed on the Millers chests away from home next season
The Rotherham Partnership is an organisation that looks to bring other public, private and voluntary organisations together for the
Cabinet Member for Community Development councillor Mahroof Hussain, told the clubs official website; "Football is at the heart of the community.The club and the Rotherham United Community Sports Trust do so much good work in the local area and by extending our support they will be able to further enhance their activities in our community."
Meanwhile the Millers Commercial diirector Steve Coakley added; "There is so much fantastic, innovative work that goes into social cohesion throughout the Borough that we should be very, very proud."
"It was the perfect opportunity to promote this when we visit the numerous towns and cities across the country throughout the season. Both the team and supporters can wear our away shirts with immense pride in displaying the 'One Town, One Community' logo and all the hard work that sits beneath that."
The Millers Community Director Brian Chapple, is also the Chairman of the Rotherham Partnership said the linkup is good for both partys.
"This is a very positive move and one which will have an impact not only on the club but also the wider community. We are pleased to be strengthening the link between the club and the Partnership and by doing so, it is expected this will help to enhance community cohesion, build relationships and extend the message of One Town One Community here in Rotherham." he said
