The least expensive ticket to watch the Millers, along with a programme, a pie and a cup of tea, adds up to £16.30. The same package in contrast at the other end of the scale at Anfield would cost £46.95 in the Premier League.
The Beeb's findings show some fans can leave a day at DVS with change from a 20 quid note.
"A policy was taken a number of years ago to try not increase ticket prices," said Young to BBC Sport online.
"A lot of clubs catergorise games, which we don't. We always charge the same price, no matter who the opposition is. Quite often when the big clubs are in town the price goes up. That doesn't happen at our club."
The Millers pipped Torquay, where fans can pay £16.50 for the same package at Plainmoor.
Bradford come out as the most expensive to support, with a total package of £27.80 including refreshment add ons.
