Speaking to the clubs website, Scott was fairly happy his side stopped a run of five defeats on the bounce.
"It's probably a fair result. We were a much better side in the first half",said the manager.
"It was disappointing to see the goal just before half-time but we did very well in the first half, created a lot of chances and we got the ball to our dangerous players and caused a lot of problems and looked more solid defensively.
"We just didn't really get going in the second half. We had a couple of half-chances and we bounced the ball around a little. They had a couple of shots that were nothing really major.
"We've lost some games but we've played pretty well for the majority of the game. The first half was how we've been playing other games recently. We just don't seem to be able to get going in the second half and it's frustrating."
