"The second half performance was a lot better, we spoke at half time about being more confident and putting the passes into the right areas, and they went out and did that and for part of it we started to play a bit and it looked like the belief was starting to come back in to the game, so that's really pleasing and the most pleasing (apart from the three points) thing to come out of the game."
"Second half we were resiliant, there was a bit of an onslaught towards the end when we were tiring a little bit, but we put a lot into it the first half, we deserved to win and could have had one or two more goals if luck had been with us but overall I think we deserved it."
"Chris has gone on a great run in the corner, we wanted him to just hold it but he's got a bit of space, he's cut inside and youve seen penaltys given for challenges like it, but the referee said it wasn't and I'm just pleased with the three points. It was a decent second half performance."
Robbo then went on to speak about O'Grady. "I think Chris has got a decent future, I've watched him but been a bit hesitant to put him in. I've just spoke to him and worked with him in training to try and get him to work towards the goal a bit more and when he does that he's frightening, and tonight showed that. If he keeps doing that he will be a good player for us."
"I thought we had to shore up the midfield a bit and not let people running off us as easily, there were times in the game they're going to do that but as long as we pass them off onto defenders and theres people there to pick up the runners then thats half the battle."
"It's fantastic we're off the bottom and you look at the next game, Bournemouth on Saturday another tough game, they'll come and pass it, they will be well organised and it will be a tough test on the back of a midweek game, but this game will have given us a little bit more practise and hopefully a bit more belief."
Robins was then again asked about the manager vacancy at Millmoor, he must be starting to get sick of it by now, "I'll just keep going and see what happens. I'll do the job to the best of my ability and try and help the lads. The pleasing aspect is that they are starting to get that belief."
"Ian Sharps and Craig Fleming looked outstanding and I think the 2 lads on the sides have been doing really well. When you see Che (Wilson) gets match fit he will be a good aquisition."
Robbo was then told a startling fact, that tonights clean sheet was the first at Millmoor since October 14th. "It's frightening isnt it, its a frightening statistic. But it's something to build on but we're not going to get carried away with it, we're still deep in the mire but we can look at the next game with a bit more confidence."
