"Credit to them - they deserved it as we didn't compete. The only positive to come from the game was the way Will Hoskins played. He was the best player on the pitch and created several great chances. I am gutted as we brought a good following and gave them nothing to cheer about.
"We've had a good month or so, you try to guard against complacency but at times in the first half it looked as though the lads just thought they had to turn up and Peterborough would let us win.
"This is probably only the second time we haven't competed this season, the other was against Chesterfield. We have some tough games coming up in the next few weeks and will try to put things right next week against Nottingham Forest.
"We have also picked up a couple of injuries in the game, Lee Williamson has a toe injury and Michael Keane has pulled a hamstring. We will not not know until Monday how bad the injuries are."
