Knill - We had enough chances to get something
"It's Yeovil at home, we'll take the positives from today and take them into the next game, and the negative points we try to work on next week.
“Everybody thought that Worrell was shoved, even the home fans around us were saying that they thought it was a blatant push. I'm sure when the referee sees it tomorrow, he'll think maybe he's got it wrong. But he's waved play on and they go down and score. The next minute we go down the right with Ritchie Partridge, he cuts back inside, their lad pulls his shirt, nothing given.
“I asked at half time, for consistency, for both sides. And I don't think he (Mr Singh) got better in the second half.
“I think Martin Woods' goal should have counted, I didn't see Martin do anything wrong, other than challenge for the ball. We've seen it time and time again, player challenges the goalkeeper, and usually the goalkeeper gets a foul, but I cant keep whining on about the referee.
“We had enough chances to score, and make the game comfortable. But we didn't, but on another day we will. Credit to the defender who cleared the ball off the line from Hoskins shot, great defending.
“We took Hurst off at half time, there's nothing wrong with him. We just thought that Bentley was getting past him and a lot of diagonal balls were coming over and with Gregor you have a little bit more height, it was just a tactical change really.
“On another day we could have got three points, but that's football, that's how it is.”
Thanks to Hodgey for the write up from the MAD staff, another good piece of work i'm sure you'll agree.
