Lee Mansell's first half header cost the Millers dear despite a show of first half dominance, and they couldn't force the equaliser after the break.
And Scott said afterwards his side created more than enough to win it having missed a host of chances.
"It's about ruthlessness in the box really," said Andy in the post match press interview. "We had enough chances, put enough balls in the box but we've not got on the end of them. We've had chances, and Evo has had that header at the end. Raynesey has had one cleared off the line where the bloke didn't know anything about it. We just weren't ruthless in the final third and that's what has decided it, because we dominated it.
"We're playing well, the lads are doing what I'm asking them to do, we're putting balls into the box, we've just not attacked the right areas. If we'd attack it well, we'd have scored, but they've fed one ball into the box, attacked it well and they've scored.
"We've dominated the game and played well so the system has worked well, but we just didn't anticipate the balls coming into the box.
"In the end we were just left a bit disappointed."
