The Millers climbed back into the top three after a 2-0 win and speaking to the press afterwards, Moore was a happy man.
"It was a massive win there is no doubt about that," said a delighted Ronnie.
"It wasn't the best performance but we have played well recently and got beat, where as we got a little bit of luck today which we haven't had in the past. We led a bit of a charmed life around our box and the 'keeper has made one or two saves but we got the goals at the right time.
"I have just said to the lads that this is how you get into the top three by winning the horrible cold rainy Tuesday night games. Our passing wasn't up to what it should be but we worked hard and gave it everything and when you do that sometimes the luck falls for you."
New signing Liam Henderson made his debut after joining from Watford earlier in the day, Moore adding: "He has just met everyone for the first time today so it has been a little strange for him.
"He has been fantastic tonight. He has worked his socks off, chased everything and done brilliant for the goal. He chased a lost cause, came inside and played a great ball for Alfie to score."
