He said: "I thought that we controlled the game for long periods and we made better use of the conditions. We got our noses in front in the second half but the lad has scored an unbelievable header at the end."
Robins added: "From where I was stood it looked like a good delivery, he slipped his marker and to be fair to the lad it was a bullet header. Overall on the balance of chances I think it was a fair result."
Ryan Taylor replaced Jamie Clarke at half time, and Robins also spoke about Reuben Reid's penalty, adding: "There was no injury to Jamie I just felt that we needed to keep the ball better up front.
"Drewe Broughton was having a tough time down the middle so we brought
on Ryan Taylor to give him some support.
"I couldn't watch the penalty I had to turn my back on it, Reuben normally puts the penalties away well but he hit the crossbar against Rochdale recently.
"He is a confident lad so I didn't have to many worries about him taking it and that was his 16th goal of the season so he is on fire at the moment."
