"Right from the start we were on song and it was a boost to take the early lead as we did and then we when notched the second goal, the rest of the game saw there was only going to be one winner.
"I didn't take any notice of our previous poor record against Chesterfield, that is all in the past now and I also didn't take any notice of the supposed curse of the manager of the Month award.
"After such a performance it perhaps isn't fair to pick out individuals but Pablo Mills was magnificent along with the rest of his colleagues.
"Ryan Taylor had to go off with a hamstring strain but Peter Holmes came on to be a fine replacement. He hasn't been too happy about not being in the team recently and I had a chat about it with him the day before the game.
"Now the lads will be in on Thursday morning as usual as we prepare for the visit of Rochdale on Saturday. One or two have some knocks and strains including Derek Holmes who came off towards the end of the game.
"Then it will be the usual Friday training session as we set our stall out to keep the run going."
