The Millers went down to Marc Richards' second half penalty for Port Vale and Scott was criticial once again of the same old problems.
"If you don't put crosses into the box, don't shoot and don't keep the ball well then you are not going to win games," he told Millers Player afterwards.
"It was a poor error for the penalty but we didn't deserve to win really, we worked on things all week in training and didn't implement them so we lost the game.
"We didn't put pressure on the ball in the first instance," added Scott talking about the penalty award. "Their man got past the player too easily and then Tongey came flying out, it was a rash tackle, penalty.
"We didn't really create opportunities when we got into good areas from the start. We didn't put the ball into the box at the right time, we delayed, we passed it sideways and when we did put it into the box we didn't attack the ball."
