Shauin Harrad's penalty in the first half was enough to see off the visitors and move the Millers upto 8th, and Scott was pleased with a second clean sheet inside a week.
He said: "I can't really remember them having a shot at our goal to be honest. We were comfortable but at 1-0 you're still worried about what can happen. The back five were excellent, we looked organised, we were strong and their 'keeper has made a fantastic save from Shaun's header.
"The conditions didn't really help, with the strong wind so to get the opening goal was a big boost. We could have done a little bit more on the ball at times but we've done well.
"The workrate is there, the effort is there, we look solid and back to back clean sheets is magnificent and it's a sign we're getting it right now. We want players who are committed and hard-working and that's what we've got tonight."
Scott added: "Kieron Cadogan has done very well, put some good crosses in and Bradders was magnificent. They even had to change things around in the second-half to combat him. He got forward ever so well, he defended the far post very well and his passing was excellent. I was delighted."
