"It was a very good win for us, Following the postponement of the Luton game last week this game became very important and now we have climbed above Accrington in the table, so it is a massive three points for us." Robins told the clubs official website.
"The game got off to a bright start but once the wind picked up later on it made things tough. There was plenty of energy out there but we lacked a little quality at certain times but they closed us down quickly and made it difficult. Bournemouth knew the importance of the game, and they have been talking all week about coming here and taking three points, so it was just very important that we won today. In the end I think the score line flattered them a little because if we had taken our chances we could have had five." Robins added.
Goalscorer Mark Hudson gained some praise for the goal; "It was an excellent goal because it was a difficult ball to control. He showed good skill to keep the ball low and smashed it right in the corner"
New signing Jason Taylor made an impressive debut until he picked up an injury in the second half forcing him to be subbed; "Jason got a kick on his leg and we are assessing him now, He will come in for treatment tomorrow so we will just have to keep an eye on him."
Robins looked to Tuesday's JPT northern final against Scunthorpe and aimed to bring a result back to Don Valley; "We can now look towards the game on Tuesday and we need to make sure we give a good account of ourselves and come away with a result, We know that we are the underdogs going into the game and we are looking forward to the challenge. We are taking a lot of support with us so we need to try and turn it into our home tie, and then get something because the prize that awaits is massive." he said.
