Speaking briefly to the post match press, an annoyed Moore was left fuming.
He said: "That was disappointing for everybody.
"They showed more enthusiasm, we had so many players off their game it was untrue. It happens, we haven't meant to play like that but we looked a little ring rusty. The players feel like they've let everyone down.
"We played too many long balls. In the first half the centre backs just kicked everything long, we need to have more faith in each other, Robbo came short for the ball but we didn't use him. We have some good players here, especially in midfield but hand on heart I don't think anyone played well tonight.
"I would have been disappointed with four points at the start of the week, but now there are only three left on offer so we need to get back into that top three as quickly as possible."
The Millers host second bottom Grimsby this Saturday in a crucial battle for points.
