"I think Derby supporters will go away and know their team was in a tough game,They will have a lot of easier games at the iPro, that's for sure.
“I think that Derby started tremendously well, and the fans were in full voice, it was probably the best atmosphere we have experienced, When we came through that first 10 minutes unscathed I think that we all breathed a sigh of relief. As the game settled down a little we managed to get our foot on the ball, and I think from 10 minutes in through to half-time I don’t think either team is scoring because I don’t think there was a chance."
“At the start of the second half again they started well, but once again we got a foothold, we brought young Swifty on and changed formation a little and lets be honest Derby County score against the run of play. I thought there was a free-kick in the build-up to the goal, we don’t like the call but we respect the decision. Matt Derbyshire should score with a header, Kieran Agard should score with almost the last kick of the game, the ‘keeper might say he has made a great save but we cannot come here and afford to miss those type of chances. I think Paul Green should score, and I expected Kieran to score, Agard was slipped a wonderful pass, he had to stretch to control it but once he did that they normally then flash into the net. In fairness we know goalkeepers at his level are going to be a little better and strikers are going to be more clinical as we step up the levels. In League One I think that goes in, but this goalkeeper has been particularly impressive with a couple of wonderful saves.”
"I think we deserved a point and I think the whole ground knows we deserved a point but sometimes you don't get what you deserve. Many people around the country thought when they saw we were away at Derby, it would be lambs to the slaughter but we aren't going to be lambs to the slaughter for anyone." he added
