After the Millers started their Carling Cup campaign with a win over Champiosip side Derby County at the Don Valley Stadium, Millers Manager Mark Robins spoke to the official site themillers.co.uk.
Robins said:
"There is no doubt about it we have beaten a good side in Derby County and we have played some good football along the way. Everyone is delighted in the dressing room and rightly so.
"The atmosphere was brilliant right from the start with both sets of supporters playing their part,"
He went on to say:
"We started brightly and then they scored with their first shot of the game and we had to cope with one or two decisions that went against us. I think that the shape of the Derby side helped us a little bit because it allowed us to get our forward thinking players in the right areas. I switched Nicky Law from the centre to the wide right position and it worked well. Paul Warne got himself in the area and scored a good goal and long may that continue."
He picked out a few players for special praise saying:
"Jamie Green was outstanding tonight playing against Lee Croft who is a really good player," .
"Dale Tonge has come in tonight and done really well. Pablo Mills and Jason Taylor both closed the opposition down in the middle of the park, and Tom Pope has worked hard up front. Everybody has played their part and we will enjoy tonight but then get back down to business for the game on Saturday."
