Talking to the club's official site, Knill said, "Three or four months ago we would have lost this game 1-0. At the moment we don't look like losing but we have to start winning games. I am disappointed, now we need to pick up some points quickly."

Knill admits that it was a game they could not afford to lose and although disappointed with the draw, he took comfort in the fact they did not lose. "It was a massive game for us, a must win but it was also a must not lose one as well. If we have to take anything out of it, it was that we didn't lose but we had enough in the game to win it. At the start of the game Hartlepool surprised us by the way they came at us and there are times when you have to give teams credit. We couldn't get the ball down and pass it so all we had to do was compete. After 10 minutes or so we got the ball down and passed it around and we looked dangerous without really making their keeper do too much."
