"It was satisfying after two defeats. We were not at our best for spells but generally I felt we controlled it over the 90 minutes. We’ve not played at our best in spells today but I think we generally controlled the game for large periods; but we won’t kid ourselves that the final result hinges on when they miss a penalty. We’ve been there ourselves and we know what it’s like but I think over the 90 minutes if we’d have lost it would have been unfair.” The gaffer said.
"The quality of the goals, especially the third, was very special. We’ve regained the ball, then put together two passes and then a ball from the best crosser in the league is met by a header from Alex Revell that would grace the Premier League. It’s a good win and I’m really proud of my players.”
“Big Miles Addison has come in and played his first proper game in a long time. He’ll probably not walk in two days now, but I think he’s done a good job, whereas there were one or two players just a notch down today but it changed when Tom came on and I was pleased to see Lee Frecklington step up in Craig Morgan’s absence as captain and showed great character.”
"It was a good win for us and the Millers fans were brilliant and they created an atmosphere, so thanks to everyone who turned up and got behind the team. I think we were a notch down in the first half but I think people can see we're not idiots."
