Talking to themillers.co.uk the big man was happy with how the team are modifying thier playing style.
“I thought the performance was absolutely super. If you look at the names on the teamsheet that you’re coming up against you could be scared of playing against them but we said we’d play and we’d get the ball down and pass it. Our performance was that good, we hit the woodwork and made the goalkeeper scramble across his goal for one. We’ll keep playing like that, we’re not going to change.” he said.
“If you look at the names on a piece of paper that Stuart (Pearce) can call upon you would be frightened to play them. I think Stuart will drive home tonight and think he’s sat next to Robin Hood because they have stolen a point." he added
The Millers are now 9 without a win, but have improved over the last week with 2 clean sheets, with the boss looking forward; “It will get better, We’ve only been working on this for two weeks but we totally dominated last week and we’ve done it again today.”
“We know we’d all love a goalscorer but they come at a real premium at this level. We’ve got to go and find one on our budget, the same way we found Wootton, Ledesma, James and Lawrence, who was stunning today. We’ll get goals though, look how close we came today.”
“We will get goals. I don’t think Nottingham Forest will get out passed or out-moved like that many times this season.
“I think we were far better than them today but as an opposition they had the tenacity and the spirit of Stuart Pearce and you could tell that when they were throwing their bodies on the line in the last 20 minutes.”
