The defence in particularly were run ragged and the boss was angered by the way they coped. "We conceded three goals in the second half and we have to do better than that. We couldn't defend crosses all night, it was very difficult to get close to them but give credit to Stockport whose movement was excellent but I honestly thought everyone had an off day. It's the worst performance we've had this season in terms of conceding goals."
With the team collecting just one point from four games and the wheels beginning to come off the promotion wagon, Robins realises it's time to stop the rot. "It was a bad day at the office and there have been one or two of them lately so we need to get them out of our system quickly. One or two of the players looked tired and that is something for me to consider.
"It's back to the drawing board now as we have to gather ourselves quickly for the game at Wycombe. We will now regroup."
