My name is Andy, I live in Portsmouth (a mile away from Fratton Park), but born in Bournemouth, and have been supporting the Cherries for just over 30 years.
What was your first game?
First game watched ..... AFCB v Stockport County 1981/82. We won 1-0 in what was to prove our promotion year from the old Fourth Division.
Describe the most memorable and the worst game you have seen and why?
Most memorable ..... Several to mention ..... AFCB walking out at Wembley for (what is known today as) the LDV Vans Trophy against Grimsby Town in 1998. Seeing AFCB beat Lincoln City 5-2 in the Third Division Play-Off final in 2003.
Worst ..... Wigan Athletic v AFCB (I forget the year) and Springfield Road when we couldn't string 2 passes together. We celebrated our first corner of the match in the 89th minute and celebrated it like we'd just won the FA Cup!
Who are your current local rivals and why?
Rivals ..... Brissle City, Swindon Town and Brentford ...... not that we get much hassle from any of them!
Who are the best and worst players you have seen?
Best ..... Luther Blissett, Shaun Teale, Wade Elliott, Ian Bishop to name but 4! Worst ..... Carl Richards, Wayne Fereday, Mohammed Berthe, Roger Boli to name but 4! I am sure if pushed I could come with a best and worst starting eleven!

How did you fare last season?
Just missed out on the play offs (to Hartlepool United) on the final day of the season. The cause wasn't helped with us losing most of the final few home matches inspite of a great run of away form (8-straight away wins!).
Where do you think you'll finish up this season?
Mid-table
You seem to be knocking around the play offs every year but can’t make that step. Is this your year?
No! Our finances and catalogue of injuries have seen us hire in 'waifs and strays' which makes for some brilliant performances and some absolute dires ones! Our manager, Sean O'Driscoll has performed miracles with the resources, and fans financing, available to him!
If Bournemouth were a TV personality, who would it be and why?
Of the town in general, then any TV personality that is hot and sparking to go with the area and beach - esp in the summer months. Of the football club then any newsreader. Always dependable as they are always in the same place (in our case mid table of English footballs third tier), but will sometimes disappear off to some better things (Championship) and some naff things too (League Two), before returning home a year or two later!
So what do you think of The Millers?
Always been a good club in the past, did well to get up to the Championship a few years ago. But in grave danger of slipping down the leagues unless a good run of results can't be found in the next month or 3.
Which current or former Millers player has impressed you the most? Name some and I might be able to tell you!
Are you happy with your chairman and board members?
Yes and no! Overall we're okay with them, but with the recent Sale & Leaseback of the ground, some fans are less happy with the chairman and board!
Are you confident your manager is the right guy for you? Yep! We couldn't afford to replace him anyway!

Which team do you want to beat this season the most and why? Brentford, Brissle City, Swindon Town all local-ish rivals. Then there are the so called big clubs who are in League One, but think that they deserve to be higher! So that's Forest added to the list! The fact that they have slipped down to this level suggests that they are not very good anyway! hehe
What sort of line up can we expect from you?
A young one!
Who’s your strongest/weakest link?
Strongest link - goal keeper Weakest link - forward line!
You'll see why on Saturday if Fletcher is playing! What’s your predicted score?
Any home win would do nicely!
Who’s going up?
Swansea City, Southend United and Tranmere Rovers!
Who’s going down?
Franchise FC, Swindon Town, Rotherham United (sorry), Blackpool!
And finally…Meat and tatty, Beef n Onion or Balti?
Beef & onion
Many thanks to Andy Burton of AFCB Exiles Club for taking the time to answer these.
