Cant remember exactly, but it was in the early 80's when Stoke were a top flight team! I guess i was about 4
Describe the most memorable and worst game you've seen and why?
Vs Manchester United in the League Cup in 1993, we beat them 2-1 with 2 excellent goals from Mark Stein. Worst has to be against your lot a couple of seasons back when you beat us 4-0(?)
Ant and Dec - Does your head in after a while.
Who do you consider as your current local rivals, and why?
I hate to say this but Crewe. We last played Port Vale 3 years ago and it doesnt look like we'll be playing them anytime in the future either!
Who are the best and worst players you have seen?
Best has to be Steve Simonsen who we signed on a free from Everton in the Summer, the lads Premiership quality! Worst has to be Paul Williams who has now sadly (ahem) left the club my mutal consent ''Who ate all the pies'' sprung to mind.
Which current or former Rotherham player impressed you most?
Alan Lee sticked out for me when you beat us 4-0, also Shaw earlier this season.
How did you fare last season?
Finished 11th 6 points from the playoffs
How did you expect to fair this season?
I predicted a top 10 finish and so far im right, just need that final push for the playoffs.
Think you could make the play-offs??
yeah if we continue our good form, at the moment we're 5 points off with a game in hand over 6th place. Fingers crossed we'll be there on the last day.
Happy yes! Akinbiyiys past it, and could'nt hit an elephants arse with a banjo!
So what do you think of The Millers?
You've been very unlucky in whats been for me a very strange league. A few more results your way and you could have been safe
Is your manager barking mad?
Pulis is quality and has done a superb jon with nothing! Rumoor has it though that he wont be signing another contract and hes leaving in the summer.
Are you happy with your Chairman/Backroom staff?
Yeah they've done a good job, bought some quality players in, reduced season ticket prices for 2 seasons on the trot and seem to be aiming for the Premiership. My only concern is lack of investment.
Which team do you want to beat the most this season and why?
What sort of line-up can we expect from you?
Not many injuries apart from John Halls and John Eustace, so expect Taggart, Duberry, Hill and Clarke in defence. Harper, Russell, Neal and Brammer making up the midfield and Kenwyne Jones alongside the inform Gifton Noel Williams up front.
Predicted score?
Predicted score?
Stoke never seem to do well against the Millers at home but our home records pretty good this season so im going for Stoke City 3 Rotherham 0
Who's going up?
Pretty tight at the top and most peoples choices would be Wigan, Ipswich and Sunderland, but teams like Derby and Preston are hitting some good form and could be in the running come May.
Who's going down?
Well dont mean to rub salt into the wounds but you look dead certs! I fancy Gillingham and Forest filling the other 2 spaces.
