Having failed to penetrate the Dons defence for 28 minutes the Merry Millers almost stole the lead.
Alan Lee, surprised by a ball into the box, got a header in but goalkeeper Kelvin Davis was able to deflect the ball away for a corner
Six minutes later, Wimbledon got the goal that they had threatened. Captain Neil Shipperley, flicked the ball into the box and Guy Branston tried to battle with Agyemang but was brushed away, before the young striker smashed the ball into the net.
United pulled level six minutes into the second half, when Andy Monkhouse fired a superb volley past Davis.
With the scores level the Dons agonised as four efforts went begging. Shipperley looked to have finished off a three man move in the 54th minute but his shot came back off the woodwork.
Eleven minutes later Morgan's cross from the right gave Agyemang a chance, but once again the ball struck the woodwork.
But United took their chance and went ahead in the 74th minute when Monkhouse slung a ball in low from the left to the far post and Richard Barker dived to head home.
The Millers wrapped up the victory in the 84th minute when Nick Daws' free kick found Lee, who rammed the ball home.
